Spring 2012 Season Information
The Dyno's (generally pre-school and kindergarten) program will be run on Saturdays at the soccer field behind the Halifax Elementary School from 9:00am-10:15am from April 14th through June 9th, except Memorial Day Weekend.
The U8 program will begin on April 14th with games each Saturday morning until June 9th. On June 9th we will have our annual U8 Jamboree. There will be no U8 games Memorial Day Weekend. Schedules will likely not be released until after April 1st.
The U10 and above programs begin March 31st and continue through June 2nd. The league hasn't posted any schedules and we aren't expecting schedules until 1-2 weeks before the first weekend of games.
Coaches should be contacting their teams 1-2 weeks before the season starts to schedule practices and deliver their team game schedule after it's been received.
Registration Information
Halifax Youth Soccer is still accepting registrations for the Dyno and U8 programs. Additionally, there are a few roster positions still available for U10 girls and U12 girls/boys. These roster spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. When the rosters are full, additional players will be placed on a waiting list. The U10 boys and U14 girls and boys rosters are already full and we can only wait list players at this time.

PTUSA Academy Training Coming to HalifaxThis spring
PTUSA, the same organization which conducted free clinic nights and a summer camp last year at Summit Street is conducting U8/U10 Academy Training on Tuesday's at the Summit Street field beginning the first week of April. The positions of Referee Coordinator/Assignor, Field Coordinator/Scheduler are occupied, but soon to be vacant. Current members are willing to cross-train.
